Great to use as a Burn-In adapter for IEC style cords. Put this adapter on the end of your refrigerator or other appliance and plug your custom or high-end IEC power cable to the adapter and the wall receptacle. Leave it there for a few days and Voila!, your cable is ready to use on your Audio / Video system, fully burned in.
Also handy for use on power supplies with the C14 style connection. Should be in every Audiophile toolbox.
